Drinking, gender differences and social changes

As part of the Swedish-Finnish project “Drinking, gender differences and social changes”, we carried out a comparative study based on focus groups with Italian and Finnish young people. In addition, a systematic search was carried out with the creation of a special archive of images/photographs that include alcoholic beverages (advertising images or images published with editorials, articles, etc.). 6 women’s magazines were consulted (Marie Claire, Gioia, Grazia, Vogue, Elle, Amica) from the 1960s to today.
