Gambling policy in European welfare regimes
The study involves five countries (Finland, Sweden, Norway, France and Italy) and intends to explore the main changes that have occurred in gaming regulation systems since the 1980s in order to analyze how these have been justified by the main stakeholders and to evaluate the pros and the cons of mechanisms through which a portion of gambling revenues is used by the state or non-profit organizations.
